Instructions to authors

Original articles within the scope of the journal should be submitted to the journal editor, Octavia-Luciana Madge, as attachments to e-mails: octavialuciana@yahoo.com.

Articles

Articles should be written in English. Potential authors may approach the editor informally by e-mail at the address mentioned above for advice on the suitability of a topic in advance of submission. Articles will be formatted with single line spacing, Times New Roman, Justify, 12.

Abstract and Keywords

Articles should be submitted with an abstract (about 100 words) in English, and also with 4-5 keywords in English.

Author Presentation

Authors should also submit a presentation of their activities (a short biographical note covering their interests, qualifications and experience in the LIS field) and indicate any organisation affiliation together with e-mail address.

References

References must be written according to the ISO Standard 690 and numbered in the order they are mentioned in the text using Arabic numerals enclosed in brackets. All publications cited in the text must be presented in a list of references at the end of the material in the order of appearance in the text - not alphabetically. Examples:

    Book:
    (1) SURNAME, First name of the author. Title of  book. Place of publication: Publisher, year.
    Book chapter:
    (2) SURNAME, First name of the author. Title of book chapter. SURNAME, First name of the editor. Title of book. Place of publication: Publisher, year, pages.
    Journal article:
    (3) SURNAME, First name of the author. Title of article. In: Title of journal, year/volume, number, pages.
    Electronic resource:
    The same rules apply and at the end of the reference the URL of the resource should be supplied.

Footnotes

Footnotes should not be used.
